We’re opening our KitKat Chocolatory Flagship Boutique in Sydney CBD.
We’re looking for Chocolatiers to join our passionate team & help us create incredible chocolate experiences!


 
Following the success and popularity of the KitKat Chocolatory Boutique in Melbourne Central, we’re excited to announce the arrival of the first permanent store in Sydney CBD.

KitKat Chocolatory allows you to experience chocolate like never before, offering our guests the opportunity to discover and create their ultimate break. Our dynamic, energetic & fun team work in an environment with a focus on delivering premium guest service, ensuring each experience is exceptional.

 

Your opportunity:


We're looking for a casual Kitchen Supervisor to be part of the in-boutique Kitchen Team at KitKat Chocolatory at our brand new boutique in the heart of Sydney CBD. As second in charge of the kitchen and working for an innovative and globally recognised brand, you will be excited to take ownership of delivering high quality, premium products and service.

 

Reporting to our Kitchen Manager, you’ll be joining a fast paced and collaborative team environment where your daily responsibilities will include:

 

• Production planning for boutique sales requirements and ensuring the team achieve output
• Maintaining a strong and current knowledge of products, ingredients and services
• Assist in the training/coaching of the new team members
• Maintaining a strong and current knowledge of products, ingredients and services
• Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the kitchen (dishwashing, rubbish, restock)
• Ensuring rostering and labour efficiency
• Upholding boutique appearance and stock management processes
• Adhering to food hygiene and quality standards
• Accepting deliveries from loading dock


 About you:

 

Outgoing, approachable and passionate about chocolate, you’ll enjoy working as part of a close knit team delivering new products and innovative service. You’ll be motivated by delivering a world-class customer experience and exceeding guest expectations.

 

Your previous roles will have prepared you with:


• Previous experience in a similar position and a passion for being part of a busy team is essential
• Playing a key role in the smooth operation of the kitchen
• Espresso machine and grinder operation, cleaning and maintenance
• You will enjoy working in a dynamic kitchen managing ongoing fluctuations in work volumes
• Delivery of premium hand crafted products
• Have a certificate IV in Patisserie or similar qualification
• Be able to hand temper chocolate and have advanced skills in working with chocolate, including ability to make moulded and hand dipped chocolates, pralines & piped fillings
• Hold a current, valid & Australian recognised Food Safety Supervisor certificate & Advanced First Aid certificate
• Basic retail experience, delivering exceptional guest experience
• Be able to work 25-38 hours a week, including weekends on a rotating roster, between 7am and 10pm


You will:


• Be available to commence from April 2020 and have good availability 1st April – 30 June 2020.
• Be available to work across our full roster, including regular late nights and weekend trade
• Have full availability across our key trading period of Christmas
