We're looking for an experienced kitchen leader with a passion for chocolate be part of the in-boutique kitchen team that crafts the incredible creations at KitKat Chocolatory. As Kitchen Manager and working for an innovative and globally recognised brand, you will be excited to take ownership of delivering high quality, premium products and service. 
  

A day in the life of...

 

Reporting to Boutique Operations Manager, you’ll be joining a fast paced and collaborative team environment where your daily responsibilities will include: 


 
•    Handcrafting an amazing selection of KitKat products, in our boutique’s open kitchen
•    Production planning for boutique & eCommerce sales requirements and ensuring the team achieve output 
•    Maintaining a strong and current knowledge of products, ingredients and services 
•    Recipe & product development, working alongside the Innovation & Brand teams
•    Lead the training/coaching of the new team members
•    Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of the kitchen (dishwashing, rubbish, restock) 
•    Ensuring rostering and labour efficiency 
•    Upholding boutique appearance and stock management processes 
•    Adhering to food hygiene and quality standards 

What will make you successful

•    Have a certificate IV in Patisserie or similar qualification 
•    Previous team management experience, including leading diverse teams
•    Recipe creation & inventory control experience
•    Be able to hand temper chocolate and have advanced skills in working with chocolate, including ability to make moluded and hand dipped chocolates, pralines & piped fillings 
•    Hold a current, valid & Australian recognised Food Safety Supervisor certificate & Advanced First Aid certificate 
•    Basic retail experience, delivering exceptional guest experience 
•    Ability to work across a 7 day roster – including alternating weekends. 
 

COVID-19 vaccination may be required to perform this role, based on the Public Health Orders applicable in some States and Territories and/or conditions of premises entry set by our customers. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination or medical exemption as part of our recruitment process.
