Expected experience: 5+ years experience in managing HR operations and payroll, people management and Education & Training Pilar

Position Summary

The Factory HR Manager is responsible for the people agenda within the 2 factories (Szerencs and Diósgyőr – 450 people on each site). Reporting to the Factory manager responsible for the 2 sites, the HR manager is leading a shared HR team on the 2 sites, driving force behind creation and implementation of people plan aligned with the Business Priorities masterplan of the 2 factories. The HR manager is also leading the strategy and the implementation of the Education & Training Pilar of TPM to ensure the transformation of the people bringing breakthrough results on the production lines. Key partner of the factories management team to develop their teams, the HR Manager is responsible for the Talent cycle (performance assessment, salary increases, talent assessment, succession plans, …). The HR manager is also responsible for building and leading the relationship and collaboration with Unions representatives building together an Employee Engagement roadmap.

A day in the life of...
  • Managing HR team (which consists of HR Business Partners, Recruiters & HR Administration, Payroll and Social security specialists) ensuring the understanding and the execution of the HR Strategy that can attract, develop and retain employees.
  • Challenge and support the established organisational structure of the plants departments (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and their supportive department Quality, Safety & Environment, Finance & Control, Applications Groups and HR) to manage effective organisational transformation when needed and lead people planning activities.
  • Lead the Talent cycle to ensure that Performance and Talent management are driving the achievement of the factories goals through objective and development plan setting and feedbacks culture. Lead talent review and calibration to ensure high performance calibration and talent development and succession plans.
  • Lead the Compensation & Benefits strategy for the 2 factories and coach others to interpret, apply and communicate “Total rewards” principles.
  • Establish, maintain and lead an effective win-win working relationship with unions representatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with managers and employees and coach them to behave and make decisions in line with Nestlé Leadership Framework.
  • Ensure all HR related policies are applied and compliant with relevant labour law and tax regulations.
  • Share professional experience with the rest of the HR team members, be a coach for them concerning labour law topics. Work as part of cross functional HR teams to develop major HR practice and process developments.                        
What will make you successful
  • Hands-on experience in SuccessFactors, SAP HR
  • Experience with TPM, Talent management and KPIs (Creation and use of metrics)
  • Confident knowledge of Hungarian employment law & labour regulations
  • Experience in Employee Cost Management / Budgeting regulations
  • Advanced Use of Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical skills, accurate and proactive personality, driver and leader behaviour in a team
  • Performing well both independently and in a team, able to develop strong relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and diplomacy skills
