Position Summary

Inspire and empower excellence in safety, health and environmental sustainability across the 2 factories. Safety, Health and Environmental Sustainability are fundamental values of Nestlé. Activities in our factories create a range of safety & health risks and environmental impacts that need to be carefully managed. Beyond the potential for harm to the individual and the environment, failure to manage these risks and impacts can also result in damage to physical assets, to legal action, and ultimately to a loss of trust from our consumers, and other stakeholders.

A day in the life of...
  • Inspiring Change and developing SH&E capability
  • Creating a compelling understanding of the Nestlé SH&E values and inspiring stakeholders to excel in compliance & continuously improve, leveraging TPM practices
  • Promoting a behavioural approach to SH&E
  • Ensuring trainings and coachings provided to all employees, especially to leaders.

Creating Strategy:

  • Identify SH&E priorities, current & future challenges, and opportunities for change at the factories (Szerencs and Diósgyőr)
  • Develop a holistic strategy and implementation plan, aligned with Market priorities & objectives
  • Guide implementation and communication of the strategy.
  • Implement local SH&E program and management system and certification, ensuring compliance being regurlarly audited and performance assessed (OHSAS, ISO etc.) 

Engagement:

  • Engage with external stakeholders (trade unions, local regulators, local communities, NGOs etc.)
What will make you successful
  • 3-5 years managerial experiences
  • At least 5 years experience in operational safety, health and environment in industrial environment
  • Experience in work cross-functional teams
  • Can analyze complex problems to identify multiple root causes
  • Can influence and impact with integrity
  •  TPM Knowledge and Strong Lean attitude would be an advantage
