Position Summary

The eCommerce Operations Specialist is responsible for setup of both global and local campaigns and new product features to drive sales and customer satisfaction within all D2C digital touchpoints. You are responsible for the set-up, testing and activation on eCommerce for the website and the APP including support of seasonal campaigns and optimization of permanent website content to achieve commercial objectives. You work to ensure on-time configuration and excellence in execution of the campaigns, landing pages and overall Customer Journeys’ content. 

You advise the E-commerce Operations & Performance Manager in making the right decisions and you work closely with the eCommerce team, Performance Marketing, CRM and Supply Chain to optimize the digital Customer Journey. You communicate with our Head Office Web Masters and eBusiness teams regularly to achieve these goals.

You will be successful in this role if work well-structured, with a high level of accuracy and vigilant attention to detail. As you are working with various departments across the Nespresso organization, you can proactively look for collaboration and opportunities.

 

A day in the life of...
As an experienced eCommerce Specialist for digital sales channels, you are also responsible for creating actionable insights about consumer behavior on the various digital D2C touchpoints of Nespresso Japan.
•    Ensure a consistent, contextual & relevant customer journey across all ecommerce platforms (including desktop, mobile site and app);
•    Optimize and enrich all Products details pages on Mobile and desktop;
•    Oversee digital asset management & HTML content to support global & local campaign activities while ensuring the website is leveraging the most relevant practices, content & features;
•    Report back-end and front-end errors on site improvements and discuss them on a frequent bases with the B2C eCommerce Manager;
•    Deliver web-ready marketing materials based on predefined specifications & creatives through use of internal CMS tools.
•    User Acceptance Testing with IS/IT stakeholders
•    Be the technical support to fix website issues related to CMS or other web systems
 

What will make you successful
•    Japanese and English proficiency is mandatory.
•    More than 5 years experience in digital & ecommerce activities including content and optimization.
•    HTML experience across multiple CMS, CSS, Javascript
•    Knowledge of Google Analytics Premium.
•    Proficiency of A/B testing tools, Google Optimize is an asset.
•    Knowledge of UX design best practices.
•    Organizational skills in a commercial environment with strong stakeholder management skills.
•    Experience with Management Systems, eMerchandizing, Product Lifecycle Management
•    Experience in a multinational, cross channel environment
•    Analytical, rigorous, disciplined, and proactive.
•    Pragmatic and results oriented.
•    Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

 

Working Conditions
Status: Regular / Permanent employee (Trial period 6 months)
Location: Nestle Nespresso K.K./ 2-10-2, Higashi Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku, TOKYO 141-0022 Japan
Transfer: No immediate (It may occur depending on the transfer after joining the company)
The number of recruited: 1 person(s)
Annual Gross Income: From 6 to 8 million yen / Monthly pay basis (It will be determined in consideration of experience and skills.)
Allowance: Bonus-twice a year, Grade allowance, Commuting expenses
Holidays: Annual holiday 123 days / 2 days off per week
Paid leave: 10 days in the first year (Given on the start day) up to 20 days
Working hours: 9:00a.m.-5:45p.m. (Break 60 min. actual work 7 hours 45 min.) /After a certain period, Discretionary Working System for Management-Related Work (企画業務型裁量労働制) will apply.
