We are looking for a Senior MPS & Production Planner to join the supply chain team at Wyeth Nutritional Singapore. In this role, you will provide consistently constrained Master Production Schedule plans, which are optimized, feasible and realistic, while ensuring the required service level and inventory objectives are met & to meet customer demand with consensus whilst minimizing cost.

 

A day in the life of...

  • Establishes an 18-months production plan for the factory.
  • Creates a feasible production plan that minimizes waste and respects capacity defined (available capacity) & at agreed level of available capacity with taking into consideration available materials so that it best balances expected stock covers, freshness and availabilities of finished and semi-finished goods.
  • Establishes Committed Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments etc.
  • Identify possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18-months horizon.
  • Identify practical issues concerning plant shutdowns, timing of promotion/ project launch activity.
  • Contribute to cross functional planning activities such as WPR (Weekly Production Review), Events Mgt meeting according to best practice.
  • Actively supports the AVC (Annual Volume Commitment) planning process and other strategic volume planning processes (i.e. CAPEX planning)

 

What will make you successful

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or related field
  • Three or more years of relevant operational experience at factory/market level is useful, in at least one of the following areas:
    • Factory Planning
    • Supply Planning / IMS Planning
    • Purchasing
    • Factory Production team leader
    • Demand Planning
  • Experience in the following processes would be highly beneficial:
    • Product lifecycle process
    • Factory Master data management
    • CAPEX
    • Strategic planning (MBS, SVOP, AVC)
