Lead consensus forecast across business unit, sales function, and supply chain. Coordinate sourcing strategy with local and import manufacturers. Facilitate Sales and Operation Planning meeting- Master Business Planning in Nestle Taiwan. Balance category inventory level and also service level to meet business needs in terms of case fil rate, inventory level, sales growth and cost.

Position Summary

Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)/MBP process for Nestle Taiwan to achieve optimal sales and supply management performance.  This role is a key contributor who will act as the liaison between the sales unit, business units, and manufacturers for all aspects of the demand and supply management process. End goal is to support business delivery and growth with balanced inventory, service, forecast accuracy, distribution cost, and provision/destruction target.

A day in the life of...

  • Maintain optimal S&OP processes for assigned products. This includes developing, maintaining and monitoring all S&OP processes in the country including target setting, training, process maintenance and tool set use, to achieve an effective S&OP process.
  • Fully understand and convey country’s unique needs, develop informational decks/reporting to clearly assess plans, including supporting data, analysis, and new developments in supply upsides and constraints. Assist region in identifying, training and supporting country representatives, demonstrating an effective and sustainable S&OP process.
  • Partner with the Commercial/Marketing team on the product portfolio by overseeing product launches/ rationalization/ special promotions, including communications to regulatory group and other key stakeholders. 
  • Set appropriate inventory target level to manage the replenishment and keep product availability at all times with high service level to internal and external customers.
  • Investigate product availability and service level failures; excess inventory situations and ensure corrective actions are in place to prevent recurrence.
  • Lead and build up cross category planner forecast capability and accuracy.  
  • Ensure that ERP system material master data are correctly set up in the systems and inventory data are accurate by doing a periodic maintenance and validation of these.

  • Strong forecasting development capability to teach and lead.
  • Good command of English & MS office, especially, the Excel skills. 
  • Good data, project management and analytical skills. 
  • Problem Solving, Conflict Management, Change Management skill. 
  • Min. 3 years of extensive experience in a viable S&OP process managing a large product portfolio.Interaction with cross-functional teams and working with all levels of the management team.  Knowledge and experience in forecasting software and demonstrated proficiency in Excel
