Minimum Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role preferably within a Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

Nestlé Ghana Limited is seeking a highly driven Field Sales Manager to lead, train, coach, and manage the Distributor Sales Team and other secondary sales roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, selling, and merchandising Nestlé products across assigned outlets to achieve targeted sales, profit, and volume within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and accessibility across all assigned outlets.
• Implement and monitor route plans to guarantee optimal coverage.
• Execute trade activities such as promotions, activations, and point of sale (POS) deployment.
• Drive distribution, volume, and visibility targets in line with cycle objectives.
• Conduct regular field accompaniments to observe, guide, and improve sales call execution.
• Identify skill gaps and provide targeted training sessions.
• Track individual performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and support improvement where needed.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and share insights.
• Ensure proper implementation of merchandising standards.
• Identify sales opportunities to drive territory growth.
• Manage damaged/expired products per Goods Returns Policy.
• Ensure retailers implement First Expiry, First Out 9 (FEFO) stock rotation.
• Oversee deployment of point of sale (POS) materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and key trade partners.
• Support distributors in recruitment, onboarding, and capability development of their sales teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely sales administration.
