Main overview of the role:
The Factory Talent & OD Executive is accountable for the development, recommendation, and implementation of the Talent Management, Performance Management, Org. Development, and Learning & Capability Building strategies, policies, and programs at the Factory level. This role aims to cultivate an organizational performance culture and ensure the continuous competency development of employees. It is essential in executing the rollout of local, regional, and global learning solutions, while ensuring alignment with people development priorities, as well as Factory and Technical MBS and OMP.
Furthermore, the Factory T&OD Executive is responsible for capability building and the transfer of knowledge related to LDv and E&T methodologies through training, coaching, and assessment activities within the Factory. This position also entails indirect oversight of LDv and E&T Function Pillar leaders. The Executive plays a crucial role in the comprehensive implementation of the ONE NCE, TPM and Operator Centric Framework, ensuring consistency and alignment of NCE, TPM, and Operator Centric practices and tools within the broader Learning and Development strategic framework.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible implementation of performance management policy and process in the factory to all levels
- Provides guidance to employees and people managers and acts as coach/expert of the process and system
- Accountable for employee development, performance evaluation, performance objectives, setting departmental objectives etc.
- Implement the strategy for Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Succession Planning in the factory, incorporating diversity and niche operations requirements, aligned with the organization goals.
- Ownership of talent selection processes at the site level. Ensure key stakeholders are aligned to the defined talent selection process, and drive an understanding of innovative and new approaches to position the candidate experience as an industry best.
- Co-pilot with the relevant Line Manager (project Sponsor/Lead) on org. design initiatives providing advice and support. Identifies areas of opportunties to enhance alignment of market organizations and strategy and improve overall organization effectiveness.
- Act as a change manager and expert by promoting the use of Corporate OD&CM standards, frameworks, tools and best practices and coaches local partners to ensure appropriate use and understanding of methodologies
- Build OD&CM capabilities through coaching and training of factory stakeholders and people managers.
- Define the local learning solutions portfolio based on learning needs assessment based on unique factory technologies as well as business priorities.
- Lead the design, build, and the delivery of local solutions portfolio while leveraging on Market Corporate, Regional, and Global solutions, resources, and capabilities.
- Be part of the market and regional learning and capability community, actively collaborating ideas on new solutions, provides input and continuous feedback to NiM Talent CoC, external benchmarks, learning technologies.
- Acts as the factory SPOC to regional or global technology centers (CTU, CTAG, etc) applicable to the factory on capability and competency development.
- Deliver and monitor completion of local induction and onboarding programs.
- Responsible for learning investment budget planning and spending.
Key qualifications:
- Strong HR experience of at least 8 years, preferably in the food manufacturing or plant environment.
- Broad business awareness with at least 5 years of talent development experience, including leadership development.
- Professional training/development qualification or experience,management of professional staff and teams,
- OD/T&L experience at business unit/company level,
- Highly mobile and amenable to move to different factories nationwide
