MECHANIC I  

Main Purpose of Job: 
To maintain efficient operating condition of all machines and equipment in the plant at all 
times to meet adequately production requirements. 

Objectives: 
1. To improve Line efficiency and performance by implementing CDM maintenance strategy 
to all equipment and facilities within his responsibilities. 
2. To help improve operation thru involvement in innovation and renovation initiatives. 
3. To work in hand in hand with production crew and respond accordingly to immediate 
needs during operation. 
Main Responsibilities:  
1. Performs routine check-up of all running machines, i.e., belts, bolts, vibration, oil, 
grease. 
2. Performs preventive maintenance works such conditioned based & preventive 
maintenance and lubrication of equipment and facilities. 
3. Perform breakdown maintenance of all equipment and facilities. 
4. Checks accuracy of all mechanical weighing scales and calibrates accordingly if there 
are weight deviation. 
5. Perform assigned CDM checklist. 
6. Assists other departments on any maintenance, repair and installation jobs. 
7. Maintains cleanliness in his work area. 
8. Works in accordance with accepted safety practices and standards established by the 
company. 
9. Reports unsafe conditions and practices to the Supervisor by making suggestions or 
removal of accident hazards. 
10. Supports Safety Programs/ Promotions/ Projects as promulgated by Safety Officer 
and/or Safety Committee. 
11. Performs other related jobs that may be assigned to him from time to time.
