Minimum Educational qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management
Minimum Relevant work experience: Minimum of 2 years as a logistics officer or freight forwarding officer or clearing agent or in a similar capacity.

Nestlé is currently looking for an Import and Export Officer at Nestle Ghana Office to ensure an outstanding service delivery on import, export and customer service export operations, managing day-to-day foreign trade activities and in strict compliance with all applicable import and export laws and regulations, in the most cost and time efficient manner
Your Responsibilities….
- Co-ordinate all activities related to the clearance or importation of equipments, raw and packaging materials and others by road, sea or air.
- Support business-wide compliance of government regulations concerning import, trade agreements, and global operations.
- Monitor the activities of agents, regulatory authorities and other relevant stakeholders closely to ensure proper documentation in conformance with global trade standards.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives to improve the performance and costs of import operations
- Manage the relationship between Nestlé and external stakeholders (i.e, clearing agents, transporters, regulatory bodies - GRA, GSA, GAEC - RPI, MoTI, MoFA, BoG, GNCCI, FDA, shipping lines, inspection agencies, Ghana Shippers Authority and others)
What Will Make You Successful?
- Two or more years of relevant experience or role at market/business environment:
- Import / Export and Transportation
- Foreign Trade & Customs
- Ability to be pragmatic, fact-based
- Ability to be analytical
- Ability to be a Team player
- Ability to be innovative seeking new ways to improve or facilitate the logistics or supply chain function
- Good communication skills
- Attention to details.
