Minimum Educational qualification: Minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering field. 

Minimum Relevant work experience: 5+ years in industrial maintenance with at least 3 years managing a maintenance team, preferably in FMCG.

Nestlé Ghana Limited is currently looking for Maintenance Engineer to 5+ years in industrial maintenance with at least 3 years managing a maintenance team, preferably in FMCG.

Ensure line (shift) production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental needs (strive towards Manufacturing Excellence). 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of planned and corrective maintenance on the plant.
  • Enforce work order discipline and AMM / SAP PM data quality through the Technical Supervisors and the Maintenance Planner.
  •  Lead breakdown analysis (BDA / GSTD / RCA) and drive the elimination of chronic losses with the Reliability Engineer whiles deploying PM and AM pillar methodologies on the plant.
  • Steer the cost mix (Breakdown, Planned, Condition-Based, 3rd-party) and prioritize repair over systematic replacement with the M&I Store and the TSWG.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Technical Supervisors, the Maintenance Planner and, through them, the maintenance technicians.
  • Partner with Production to eliminate safety risks, quality defects and chronic technical issues on the plant.
  • Drive the adoption of digital maintenance tools on the plant: AMM Mobile, POKA, TrendMiner / condition monitoring, DMO analytics

 

What makes you successful?

  • 5+ years in industrial maintenance with at least 3 years managing a maintenance team, preferably in FMCG.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
  • Hands-on experience across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation basics.
  • Good knowledge of TPM / NCE methodologies (PM and AM pillars), BMP (Best Maintenance Practices) and structured problem solving (BDA, GSTD, RCA).
  • Participation in CAPEX projects and start-up of new equipment / lines.
  • Experience working in multifunctional teams (Production, Quality, SHE, Reliability).
  • Strong leadership, coaching and challenge skills.
