Minimum Educational qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety.
Minimum Relevant work experience: 2 -3 years’ experience in similar role (preferably food industry).

Nestlé Ghana Ltd is currently looking for a SHE Officer at our Tema Factory who will conduct operational activities for the maintenance and improvement of the SHE management system of the factory with the objective of maintaining zero accident and minimize environmental impacts associated with factory operations.
A day in a Life……
- Ensure implementation of SHE operational controls including checklists in order to achieve safe operations. Provide coaching and support to the factory employees during this process
- Contribute to training, sensitization and coaching of new employees and external service providers
- Assist in implementing, control, maintain and improve the SHE Management systems including achieving and maintaining ISO Certifications
- Assist coaching & support to the SHE SPOC & SHE representatives in order to achieve the SHE objectives. Promote the awareness of SHE.
- Ensure that SHE performance data is available and correctly managed.
- Champion the SHE risk assessment program, including assessment, incident investigation, corrective action and auditing, as well as ensuring a focus on BBS and culture.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the waste management process and from any commitment (Contract ...) of the Fabrique on the management of waste, and that in accordance with current regulations.
- Champion environmental impacts studies
