Minimum Educational qualification: Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology, Food science, Biochemistry or related discipline.

Minimum Relevant work experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food processing environment

Nestlé Ghana Limited is currently looking for a Senior Analyst - Chemistry to ensure quality and food safety of all nestle products for customer confidence and satisfaction.

 

Key Responisbilities

Co-ordinate good laboratory practices within Tema factory to ensure reliable results of analytical work in a safe environment.

Conduct physical and chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products promptly for quick releases into the system (SAP).

Monitor Internal control Plan (ICP) of equipment and reagents according to agreed frequency.

Ensure that analytical data is captured electronically and trended.

Responsible for entry of analytical results into the system (SAP) promptly for release.

Co-ordinate the calibration, validation and monitoring of milko scan at milk processing.

Responsible for the preparation of standard solutions required for chemical analysis

Monitoring of ICPs on both equipment and method in the area of functional responsibilities.

Responsible for the proper allocation of glassware in cabinets and other laboratory tools required for analysis.

Any other job assigned by the Chemist.

 

What Will Make You Successful?

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read and write in English

Capable to use and handle the machine, instruments, and devices.

Computer literate (Intermediate).

Ability to undertake data analysis & reporting.

Ability to perform cross functional collaboration.

Knowledge of Regulatory Standards.

Quality Control in Food or Familiarity with food safety standards .

Laboratory Experience: Hands-on experience with microbiological testing methods and lab equipment is essential for accurate and reliable testing.

Competency in SAP
