Minimum Educational qualification:  Degree in Food Science or Biochemistry

 

Minimum Relevant work experience:  Minimum of 2 to 4 years working experience as Vendor Auditor, Procurement Auditor or Food Safety Manager or Supervisor

Nestlé CWAR is currently looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Coordinator who will coordinate all issues related to raw and packaging materials through the Vendor Management Programmes including vendor assessment, complaint handling.

 

A day in a life:

 

People and Technical Expertise

  • Liaise with CWA technical to ensure that all local suppliers are audited based on the suppliers’ audit plan
  • Ensure that non-conforming raw materials are treated with the urgency they deserve and the necessary feedback to clients sent.
  • Ensure non-conformity practices are managed appropriately.
  • Ensure that all raw materials for production trial are worked on and released for production on time.
  • Liaise with application group to ensure that all issues regarding raw materials from new suppliers are followed to the released stage i.e. ensure change control note (CCN) fully signed and filed.
  • Maintains Quality Information Records for vendor sites and update of vendor site information.
  • Ensure that all raw materials in use have Quality Management System and align to SAP. Maintains of Quality Information Records and Vendor Site
  • Involved in the preparation of monthly report of all raw/packaging materials received in the month and the associated issues to the factory manager.
  • Relates to suppliers on defective raw materials as may be assigned by the Q.A Manager
  • Conduct all assigned internal audits.
  • Participate in food safety team meetings as a food team member responsible for Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices implementation.
  • Relates to manufacturing managers and production supervisors in all raw material issues.
  • SHE: Working safely and supporting the overall Safety, Health and Environment Management standards that apply to your work area

Quality system

  • Define and update the specific quality procedures, instructions, and tools in the area of technical expertise.
  • Contribute to define and follow-up on quality KPIs.
  • Set operational objectives in collaboration with the Factory Quality Manager.
  • Ensure that all net content requirements are implemented on filling lines.
  • Ensure that filling processes on all filling machines are under control by conducting machine test
  • Ensure that finished product target net contents are set in collaboration with QAM and Net Content Officer

Quality Mastership:

  • Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence program in the quest for zero defect.
  • Support activities to achieve compliance with the Nestlé Quality Management System requirements and other applicable.

Quality Auditing and Verification

  • Support unit readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Non-Conformity Handling, QP and QM notifications
