Minimum Educational Qualification: HND or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.

 

Minimum Relevant Work Experience: 5 years in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years supervising a team (FMCG / process industry preferred).

Nestlé Ghana Limited is currently looking for a Technical Supervisor to lead a multidisciplinary team of maintenance technicians and organize the daily execution of maintenance activities, balancing planned work (per the weekly schedule) and curative response, in close partnership with Production, to maximize line availability, Technical Efficiency and team performance. The Technical Supervisor is the technical referent for the team on duty.

 

 A day in the life of a Technical Supervisor:

  • Organize and supervise the daily work of the team, arbitrating in real time between planned maintenance and curative response in partnership with Production.
  • Lead the shift handover and the daily maintenance routine (DOR), with visibility on Week +1 / Week +2, and mobilize E&A, I&S or Central Maintenance when required.
  • Enforce execution discipline: right procedure, right tools, right spare parts, right PPE, and proper AMM closure before moving to the next task. On-call availability for critical breakdowns outside working hours.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of multidisciplinary maintenance technicians, whiles ensuring shift coverage, attendance and back-up plans.
  • Build technical and behavioural skills through structured on-the-job coaching, OPL and the Competence Building Plan (CBP).
  • Act as first point of escalation for breakdowns on duty: lead the diagnosis, mobilize the right resources, and ensure proper recording in AMM.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with SHE standards (LOTO, work permits, working at height, confined space, electrical safety) and with Nestlé Engineering, food safety and quality standards.

  • Recognized skills in Engineering and Maintenance
  • Good working knowledge of CMMS / AMM (SAP PM preferred), with ability to mine and use data.
  • Knowledge of TPM / NCE methodologies (PM and AM pillars).
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills; comfortable challenging both technicians and peers.
  • Availability and willingness to operate in shift rotation
