POSITION: Seasonal General Production
BUSINESS UNIT: Sterling Road Factory
LOCATION: Toronto, Ontario
REPORTS TO: Production Team Leader
RATE: 19$/hr
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week.
TYPE: Contract; immediate start and contract end October 30, 2026.
Replacement Role
Nestlé Canada Confectionery has an immediate opening for a Seasonal General Production to join the production team at our chocolate manufacturing plant, located in Toronto, Ontario. This is an 8-hr shift position and includes open availability and may include weekend work depending on business needs.
Day in the life...
-
To perform general production jobs that may involve repetitive bending, pushing, twisting, pulling, lifting and machine operation.

Cleaning duties may be assigned, including cleaning equipment, the facility and washrooms.

To perform all duties safely; comply with safety, environmental, and quality policies, accident prevention and compliance programs.

Flexibility to work varied shifts; overtime may be required, including weekends.

Adherence to plant quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.

To seek opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives.
What will make you successful?

High school degree or equivalent required and will be verified if chosen as the successful candidate.

Note: Credentials obtained outside of Canada require an evaluation to determine the Canadian educational equivalence. This evaluation must support the educational requirements for the position as a condition of employment.

1 to 3 years of manufacturing/warehouse experience would be an asset.

Computer knowledge.
-
Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job.
-
Be mechanically inclined.

Ability to perform basic mathematics.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-
Self-motivated, safety and quality conscious; requiring minimal supervision.
