Position Summary

Job Description: All applicants must meet the following requirements:

Applicant must demonstrate aptitude for troubleshooting electrical equipment to the component level. 

Two to three years’ experience in the electrical field is desired. 

Applicant will be required to work on up to and including 480 volts, 3 phase and be proficient doing various kinds of industrial wiring, and computer applications is a plus.

Electrician Specialists will be required to obtain and maintain a current hyperbaric (F18) physical. They must furnish their own hand tools and must pass an updated basic knowledge and skills test.  Provide secondary coverage front to back on the lines; must keep a current Hi-Lift license aerial.  Applicants will be required to satisfactorily complete both a written and practical evaluation prior to training.
Must be able to obtain and maintain LOTO certification; operator’s licenses for forklift, scissor lift, and other specialty equipment as deemed necessary.
Must successfully obtain and maintain current forklift and aerial lift qualifications. Must demonstrate skill / knowledge in the areas of Pneumatics; Print Reading; Welding; Electrical; Lubrication; Plumbing; Rigging; Machining; Mechanical; and some HVAC.
Must successfully complete written and practical Maintenance Technician I exams prior to training.
Must successfully complete and maintain a Hyperbaric (Flash 18) Physical prior to training.
Must be a motivated team player
Must be safety-conscious at all times
Must have good verbal and written communications skills
Must be willing to cross-train in other Maintenance skills
Must have good attendance record/good performance record 
Must furnish their own hand tools.
Must demonstrate an aptitude for multi-disciplinary mechanical skills. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Duties consist of day to day preventive maintenance and repair of all production equipment in the Trenton facility, to include all labeling / packaging equipment; general maintenance and repair of the Trenton facility; other maintenance or repair duties as required. 
Proper completion of all required documentation, including but not limited to maintenance records, operations records, safety records, defect and repair logs, etc.
Training and qualification standards for this classification may be modified based on changes to plant equipment, such as (but not limited to): the addition of new equipment and/or the deletion of existing equipment; upgrades to equipment or processes; adjustments in procedural or regulatory requirements; etc.
