Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior National Account Manager to join our Nestlé Health Science (NHSc ) Sales team to drive distribution of the portfolio of NHSc Consumer Care brands on our Amazon account in order to drive profitable growth. Consumer Care includes both VMHS (Vitamins, Minerals and Herbal supplements) and Active Nutrition. The portfolio of seven brands includes, Solgar, Vital Proteins, Pure Encapsulations, Minami, Nature’s Bounty, Garden of Life and Nuun hydration.

 

As Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between Nestlé Health Science Consumer Brands and all Amazon platforms, liaising with Buyers, Category, Retail, Finance, Supply Chain and any relevant projects to deliver NNS through effective activation whilst controlling Trade Spend and margin targets. 

 

A day in the life of a Senior National Account Manager …
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to delivery of Consumer Care Portfolio commercial targets
  • Meet with Amazon AVS / AVN Teams on a weekly basis, attend quarterly business reviews ensuring representation from Brand Marketing Teams
  • Meet with agencies to execute Marketing Plans and ensure IDQ on all ASIN's.
  • Key point of contact for Nestle Health Science CC customers
  • Demonstrate autonomy to manage joint business plans to drive profitable growth that have SMART objectives
  • Prioritise customer meetings where the opportunities are to deliver against strategic imperatives taking a consultative approach
  • Provide analysis where required to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Adherence to promotional guidelines and on-going evaluation of all customer investment.                                          
  • Regular trade spend reviews with Sales Operations & and National Account Controller with recommendations on future activity and manage budget
  • Create and deliver a strategy aligned to the business strategic imperatives, taking a category approach, win distribution in existing and new business while delivering excellent execution in conjunction with brand campaigns and aspirations
  • Contribute insight and data for the monthly review of volume, plans, NPS, NNS & TAs as part of the monthly business process. Provide regular updates to the National Account Controller identifying risks and opportunities to drive the maximum potential
  • Deliver channel relevant category strategy aligned to business priorities


What will make you successful
To be successful, you’ll already have a fantastic breadth of sales experience under your belt, ideally operating as a National Account Manager and ideally have a blend of sales and category experience.   

You will be passionate, tenacious, results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for our brands, you will have commercial capability and have experience of influencing across all levels.  What’s key is your real passion for all things eCommerce and digital and the ability to work in an environment that can be, at times, ambiguous. 

 

You will also:

  • Have a full understanding of Amazon Business with previous experience of working with Amazon Vendor Central / AVS / AVN and strategic partners 
  • Be an experienced and skilled negotiator and have the ability to conduct multi-faceted negotiations
  • Demonstrate building and implementing channel strategies 
  • Have a curious mindset – willingness to test and learn 
  • Have the ability to think customer and have a solutions driven approach 
  • Have a clear understanding of category dynamics 
  • Be numerate with good understanding of P&L’s 
  • Have a full understanding of relevant category and sales data with skill to interpret and present with recommendations
