Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner within our Tutbury Factory HR team. As part of the Factory HR Team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of the People plan. Your key areas of immediate focus will include; understanding future and current Employee relations landscape, taking key insights to develop proactive plans which will support the improvement of employee engagement, manager capability and deliver a high performing and supportive culture. You’ll lead the implementation and evolution of the talent management strategy and framework, and work with HR and trade union colleagues to deliver key initiatives focused on inclusivity and engagement in operations. 

 

This role will provide the flexibility and autonomy of getting to the heart of people issues, working to develop fit for purpose solutions with a continuous improvement mentality.  

 

Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Staffordshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after a £250 million investment over the last few years. The factory produces several of the most well-known Nescafé products in the world through freeze-dried, spray dried and pod coffee production technologies and is at the forefront of coffee production globally.

A day in the life of a HR Business Partner….

This role offers a real opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of the HR strategy from day one. 

Your responsibilities will include; 
•    Developing and delivering the Talent Management agenda for Operations, in cooperation with the Talent CoC. This will include longer term planning around enhancing leader and line manager capability, succession management and attraction and retention strategies
•    Engaging with Operations leaders to prioritise key initiatives from the N&I survey feedback that will step change engagement levels
•    Support on organisational transformation and change projects which support the journey to high performing Operations
•    Drive improvements in how we draw insight from case management to support progressive ER initiatives
•    To act as the HR Business Partner for the Group Technical and Production teams, implementing the broad HR plans including Reward, Talent, Resourcing, Communications and Engagement and Employee Relations, whilst acting as trusted advisor and coach to members of the Technical & Production Leadership Team 


What will make you successful?

As the successful candidate, you will already have a breadth of HR experience ideally across a manufacturing industry with a demonstrated ability to work as a true business partner. Your career so far will demonstrate a record of accomplishment as a HRBP with a strong knowledge generalist HR experience such as performance management, talent management, recruitment & resourcing, employee relations, employment law, and organisational change. You’ll bring lots of energy and enthusiasm, with a pro-active approach to resolving challenging and complex situations, continually driving best practice, and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies, and employment legislation. Supporting change management and delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business whilst influencing with impact and a continuous improvement mind-set.
