Salary: £75,459.38 (inclusive of shift allowance and contractual overtime)
Shift Pattern: 3 on, 3 off – 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights and working bank holidays)

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer in our Industrial Services department, based at our state-of-the-art coffee manufacturing plant in Tutbury, Derbyshire. This is a permanent opportunity which will report into the Industrial Services Manager.
Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after a £250 million investment over the last few years. The factory produces several of the most well-known Nescafé products in the world through freeze-dried, spray dried, pod coffee production technologies and is at the forefront of coffee production globally.

Your impact
Ultimately, you will be responsible for managing a group of shift technicians on your shift whilst ensuring effective plant reliability through coordination and coaching.
Your other key responsibilities will include:
- Support the Build and implementation the department OMP.
- Ensure compliance to the Nestlé quality policy including engineering change management & line release.
- Coordination and implementation of the departmental maintenance strategy.
- Analysis of breakdowns, with a root cause mindset, taking ownership of follow up actions and roll out.
- Supporting the capability build across the department with a strong competency build plan.
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practice standards in respect of plant, tools and environment.
Your ingredients for success
We’re looking for an experienced Engineer and enthusiastic person to join our team. you will need to be a flexible individual with excellent attention to detail to succeed in our fast-paced environment. Having previous experience within an FMCG engineering department is also preferable.
Ideally you will be a qualified Multi-skilled Engineer, but Electrical or Mechanical Bias will also be considered.
Other key attributes include:
- Be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3/City & Guilds and/or completed a time served apprenticeship. - Essential
- Have a hands-on, practical approach to your work, along with a can-do attitude.
- Can work as part of a team delivering compliance in safety and quality.
- Have excellent problem solving and prioritisation skills.
- TPM understanding is a must.
