Job Title: Site Administration and Communications Officer
Location: Tutbury, Derbyshire


Salary: Circa £34,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

 

 

The Role

At Nestlé we believe great coffee starts with great people. The Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after circa £500 million investment over the last few years. The factory is a Centre of excellence for Nescafé products around the world producing freeze-dried, spray dried and pod coffee technologies and is at the forefront of coffee innovation globally.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. This is a varied role requiring attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to supporting the Factory Leadership Team, in particular the Factory Manager. This requires exceptional organisational and IT skills to ensure smooth operations and seamless communication across all departments.

 

The role plays a crucial part in organising all aspects of external, customer and VIP onsite visits; the role being the friendly face that welcomes and assists visitors, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they arrive.

 

The Factory also plays an important part of the local community.  The Site Administration and Communications Officer will promote our factory's involvement in community affairs, which will be wide ranging from organising community and charitable initiatives to fostering strong relationships between our factory and the local community.

 

Further responsibilities will include supporting Recognition onsite, organising health checks and stationery supplies.

                                                        

About You

  • Proactive and self-motivated who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • A confident and clear communicator (verbal and written).
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
  • Ideally have at least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or communications role, ideally in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • An exposure to supporting communication initiatives on site will also be a plus.
