Salary: £49,009.68 (inclusive of shift allowance and contractual overtime)
Shift pattern: 2-shift pattern.
Week 1: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday 12pm-8pm
We are recruiting for a Workshop & Buildings Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art Coffee Manufacturing plant in Tutbury, Derbyshire. This is a permanent opportunity which will report into the Workshop & Buildings Manager.
Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after a £250 million investment over the last few years. The factory produces several of the most well-known Nescafé products in the world through freeze-dried, spray dried and pod coffee production technologies and is at the forefront of coffee production globally.

Your impact
Working within the Engineering department you will have responsibility for the repair and maintenance of the site. You will use a range of skills to deliver high quality work across all aspects of construction disciplines.
Experience of working on a large site with a multi-skilled background in both building maintenance and engineering functions would be advantageous.
Your ingredients for success
To be successful in this role you will already have a broad experience in construction and/or building works and regulations.
Other essential criteria:
- The successful will have completed a recognized general construction apprenticeship or trade specific apprenticeship. A relevant individual C&G/NVQ/BTEC qualification would be particularly advantageous.
- Experience of general building and plumbing work would be advantageous.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
- General Engineering Workshop experience would be a distinct advantage.
