POSITION SUMMARY

 

As the Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for performing activities that contribute towards maintaining accurate, consistent, and timely financial records in full compliance with corporate and legal standards, properly manage the fixed assets of the business and contribute to the effectiveness of internal controls.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • You will be responsible for executing in-scope processes on time with the highest level of quality. This includes Fixed Assets accounting, General ledger activities, Period-End-Close activities, Internal & Reporting activities (or specific assigned areas).

  • You will review all NRT's (Net risk transfers) for the market to ensure accuracy and quality in reconciliations.

  • You will manage the Fixed Asset Register ensuring timely capitalization, disposal and tagging of fixed assets in accordance with the policy.

  • You will assist in the execution of all Nestlé Market Audits and Nestle Groups Audits for all functions within the company.

  • As the Concur super-user, you will perform all credit card postings, monitor, and clear T&E, ensure compliance with the T&E policy.

  • You will ensure that performance Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and key performance indicators of services (KPI's) are as per agreed by GNBS and the market.

  • You will manage at an optimum level, document management for the department such as journals, reconciliations, bank statements, reporting schedules. This includes monitoring and managing proper archiving.

  • You will analyse accounts fully and propose adjustments if needed and participate in or lead continuous improvement initiatives as required for the benefit of the team/ division/ company.

 

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

 

  • University / bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA Level 2 or equivalent qualifications.

  • Work experience in a similar role.

  • Fast-Moving Consumer Good Industry Experience.

  • Knowledge of internal accounting standards (IAS/IFRS).

  • Investigative and Analytical Skills.

  • Experience in an auditing industry will be an asset.
