POSITION SUMMARY
As the QA assistant, you will be responsible for conducting internal and external audits, driving compliance, managing documentation, and promoting a culture of quality excellence throughout the supply chain. You would also be required to collaborate with the ADC Quality Assurance team, Sales, Distribution Centre and external parties to implement and uphold quality procedures, document findings, and suggest improvements.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Coordinate planned Nestle Good Distribution Practices (NGDP) audits with Nestle distribution teams. Submit and review report and action plan with respective teams to close gaps identified in a timely manner.
- Support with quality releases, product recall, investigating and monitoring the progression of Intermarket complaints and ADC customer complaints.
- Support in the continuous improvement of quality through quality awareness programs, training, the development and/or implementation of quality assurance policies, procedures aligned to Nestle Global Standards and ADC Market procedures.
- Conduct planned NGDP complaince assessments at ADC Distributors and Vendor Assessment Audits (VAM) at suppliers such as Copack providers. Ensure timely report submission and closure of the gaps identified.
- ·Support in executing the annual internal and external audit program for ISO 9001-2015, with a focus on ADC processess. Ensure closure of non-conformities with process owners by use of RCA and CAPA .
- Manage internal documentation through the Nestlé Documentation Management System (NIMS-DMS). Ensuring change control is embedded in the process and maintaining the documentation life cycle.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
- 2 years of experience in similar roles
- BSc. in Food Science & Technology, Chemistry or related qualification
- Masters would be an asset
