POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing engineering professional and technical leadership in the Factory, ensuring product safety, health and the environment are never compromised, and that all engineering activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant/ operation performance.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Ensure optimal decisions are made and implemented effectively throughout the entire factory.
- Monitor capital investments, ensuring justification, request, implementation, startup, and reporting align with guidelines and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), allowing for adjustments to operational requirements.
- Enable high-performance operations by providing maintenance according to Nestlé's strategy, utilizing TPM and preventive maintenance (PM) to enhance fixed assets and manage their lifecycle.
- Optimize production utilities to meet operational needs while ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Ensure electrical services, automation levels, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) at the factory level align with business requirements.
- Promote sustainable operations at the factory level through effective energy and water management practices, supported by a robust reporting system.
- Coordinate the implementation of new processes and technologies across the market, PTC, corporate, and SBU.
- Uphold and promote Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies, ensuring compliance with mandatory principles, quality standards, and the WHO Code Management System (WCMS).
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, along with a Master's degree in Business Management or Administration.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial services and management, with a strong background in project management and investment management.
- Proven experience working within multidisciplinary teams, focusing on building and managing investment budgets.
- Experience in the startup of technical equipment and production lines, demonstrating leadership in all initiatives.
