POSITION SUMMARY
As the Senior Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for improving factory equipment reliability and cost-effectiveness by implementing failure mitigation strategies, analyzing data, and ensuring safety compliance. Develop procedures, conduct training, and lead knowledge transfer initiatives.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Developing and executing strategies to reduce and eliminate repetitive failures
- Applying troubleshooting and problem-solving tools
- Driving lubrication and inspection management to reduce unplanned stops due to lubrication failures and increase autonomy of operators to execute inspection and lubrication tasks, while maintaining equipment in basic conditions
- Eliminating sources of contamination using problem-solving tools and eliminating "Hard to Reach Places" to ensure equipment are kept clean and to basic condition
- Analyzing all performance metrics and equipment data trends and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Implementing Predictive Maintenance and Condition-Based Monitoring strategies
- Improving all AMM maintenance tasks/ plans (5W+1H) in order to extend component and equipment life cycle.
- Working with Area Operators and Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot process and equipment issues to increase reliability.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
- BSc. Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years experience in Reliability or Conditioned Based Engineering
- Lean Six Sigma certification will be considered an asset
- Competence in Project Management. PMP certification will be considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, process-flow diagrams, technical manuals, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, spare parts catalogue and P&IDs
