As an Accounting & Reporting Intern at Nestlé, your mission is to support the Group Accounting & Reporting team in the preparation, analysis and review of financial reporting activities. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with finance teams across functions and by contributing to accurate, complete and timely financial information in an international environment. This is your opportunity to build practical experience in corporate finance while supporting accounting operations, closing activities, reporting and continuous improvement.
How you’ll make an impact as an Accounting & Reporting Intern
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting deliverables
- Assist in the consolidation, validation and analysis of financial data from markets and business units
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities, including account checks, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare financial reports, presentations and management reporting materials for the team
- Participate in data quality reviews, process documentation, continuous improvement, automation-related checks and audit-related or ad hoc activities
What will make you successful
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
- Strong interest in corporate finance and accounting, with an understanding of general accounting principles such as debit and credit
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools is an advantage
- Digital agility and curiosity for automation tools
- Detail-oriented, organized and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Fluent in English
- Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning
