Position Summary  

 

As a Corporate Agriculture Farmer Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating, driving, and leading the decarbonization and regenerative agriculture of dairy by creating an ecosystem of enablers around the dairy farmer on a global scale.

 

A Day in the Life of a Corporate Agriculture Farmer Engagement Lead

 

  • Develop and roll out the Dairy Climate Game Changer 'Farmer Engagement and Services Market Place stream'
  • Create a framework program for the dairy supply chains to support the robustness of the dairy supply chain
  • Provide various services to the dairy farmers such as milk price incentive schemes, training, technical support, purchasing deals, financing, insurance, and social services
  • Collaborate with partners to build solutions and develop IT support tools for the services
  • Facilitate the selection and development of IT support tools for the services
  • Adapt solutions to the local market context


What will make you successful

 

  • University degree or equivalent in agriculture, rural development, and farm economics
  • Robust experience in developing and implementing projects at scale
  • Experience in dairy and proven track record in delivering results with cross-functional teams
  • Financial literacy and process orientation
  • Solid knowledge of sustainable, climate, and regenerative agriculture practices
  • Strong business and sourcing strategy skills & raw material direct sourcing operations
  • Milk district management experience
  • Knowledgeable in quality management systems and sustainability approaches
  • People management and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English, Spanish (nice to have), and other languages are a plus
