Position Summary  

 

As a Corporate Engagement and Events Specialist, you will be responsible for leading local donations and sponsorship projects, aligned with the identified pillars of Corporate Giving. In this role, you will identify, establish, and sustain relationships with partners who share our commitment and align with Nestlé's Corporate Giving pillars. From partnership inception to event execution, you will ensure thoughtful engagement, manage internal and external stakeholders and make a positive impact in the community by supporting Nestlé's ambition to be a Good Neighbor.

A Day in the Life of a Corporate Engagement and Events Specialist

 

  • Identify and pursue regional opportunities to enhance Nestlé's Community Giving efforts, effectively managing the Nestlé grant seeking platform
  • Take ownership of managing, and evaluating key event platforms, including main sponsorships, community events, and local campaigns, to boost Nestlé's visibility and reputation
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of partners, building trust and driving engagement throughout the partnership lifecycle, including program development, visibility opportunities, and event coordination
  • Coordinate and prepare materials, proposals, and updates for internal governance bodies, ensuring alignment with company objectives and maximizing impact
  • Brief and coordinate agencies dedicated to event setups and operations, while ensuring stringent budget management and events performance evaluation.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Considerable experience in communications, philanthropic project management, events planning, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated self-drive, prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the local and cantonal associative tissue and stakeholder environment, with a willingness to actively engage in it.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP, and other relevant software.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to distill complex insights into simple and actionable ideas/messages.
  • Fluent in both French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in the other languages.
