Position Summary
As a Design Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the integration of Design Excellence at Nestlé for the benefit of all our brands. In this role, you will collaborate in organizing community-building events and monitoring design trends. Additionally, you will assist in the creation and adaptation of guidelines, presentations, and supporting visuals to enhance engagement and facilitate a deeper understanding of design principles.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to how Nestlé defines and guides global practices for design, how we inspire and share guidance and trends, and how we build a community of design enthusiasts that cross functions and borders.

A Day in the Life of a Design Intern
- Assist the Global Design team in creating and adapting materials for design-related guidance and training, while ensuring alignment with brand identity and visual standards.
- Assist in fostering engagement within our internal and agency Design Community by helping to organize our quarterly Community Forum.
- Help other team members prepare, create, and organize visual assets, enhancing our library with relevant materials while gaining insights into effective resource management and collaboration.
- With the support of the team, assist in coordinating and preparing communications to share inspiring brand identity and strategic design initiatives, offering a chance to learn about effective messaging and audience engagement.
- Collaborate with Nestlé Design Excellence to promote internal and external training opportunities, gaining experience in crafting engaging posts and encouraging participation within the Nestlé x Design For Good Community.
- Discover and learn more about current design trends, gather insights relevant to our categories, and collaborate with agency partners. This experience will enhance your understanding of the design landscape and contribute to producing consistent internal updates.
What will make you successful
- Recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or similar.
- Interest and exposure to the fundamentals of Branding, Brand Identity, and Brand Design.
- Strong conceptual thinking, visual storytelling craft, attention to detail, and strong sense of brand design.
- Interest in learning how design works in large, global brands, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- High proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign). Ideally proficiency in animation and video software too. Proficiency in Microsoft 360 Tools (PowerPoint).
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
