Position Summary  

 

As an Environmental Sustainability Intern, you will be responsible for supporting sustainability initiatives by collecting and analyzing environmental data, managing reporting systems, conducting gap analyses, proposing document improvements, and assisting in the development of learning content.

 

A Day in the Life of an Environmental Sustainability Intern

 

•    Monitor and compile key sustainability data, gaining hands-on experience in environmental metrics
•    Conduct gap analyses on performance tools, enhancing analytical skills and understanding of reporting processes
•    Research and propose innovative improvements for internal documents, fostering creativity and problem-solving abilities
•    Manage the environmental reporting system, developing organizational and administrative competencies
•    Review and enhance best practices, learning to apply sustainability strategies in real-world contexts
•    Provide support to the Engineering & Environmental Team, collaborating with professionals and expanding your network
•    Create engaging learning content for internal use, honing communication and content development skills
•    Assist in managing internal website updates, gaining insights into digital management and user engagement

 

What will make you successful

 

•    Pursuing a degree in engineering or environmental science 
•    Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
•    Strong time management skills with a desire to learn and deliver excellence
•    Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
•    Strong written and oral communication skills
•    Proactive approach to problem-solving and a demonstrated interest in sustainability
•    Fluency in English
