Position Summary  

 

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, you will be responsible for Financial Analysis and Control activities. Your main responsibilities will include producing and distributing timely, accurate, and relevant management reporting and analyses for Top Management, ensuring coordination with Strategic Business Units (SBUs), Zones, and Globally Managed Businesses (GMBs). You will also be responsible for financial planning, specifically the Dynamic Forecast process and analyses. Additionally, you will track the progress of Group initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

 

A Day in the Life of a Decision Support Lead

 

  • Ensure full transparency of key business KPIs across Nestlé (NiM) by establishing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and non-financial reports for Top Management
  • Drive Financial Planning and Data Analysis coordination and team alignment with a unified analytical framework, decision toolkits, and detailed financial analysis at Zone and SBU Levels, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and timelines
  • Provide active support on the Target setting process and tracking of the Target achievement
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis on various financial KPIs for Actuals and Dynamic Forecast (DF) to the Head of FP&A, Group CFO, Executive Board members, Investor Relations and other stakeholders
  • Monitor Group initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives by defining Key Performance Indicators KPIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams for timely execution, and preparing comprehensive performance reports


What will make you successful

 

  • University/Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting/Management Accounting Certification would be an asset
  • Solid experience in controlling, including Market and/or Centre experience in Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Accounting, or Consolidation and Reporting.
  • Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations, synthetizing them and explaining them in a simple understandable manner
  • Proactive, adaptable problem-solver with an open-minded attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong interpersonal skills and effective organizational and planning and Project Management abilities 
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel & PowerPoint & SAP 
  • Proficiency in English (other languages are a plus)
