As the Head of Global Business Services Finance at Nestlé, your mission is to act as a key finance partner to the Head of GBS and the GBS Management Team. You will shape the financial roadmap, challenge business decisions, and ensure disciplined planning, performance management, cost transparency and value realization across the global GBS network. Working closely with Center Heads, End-to-End solution leads, Global Process Owners, Markets, IT & Digital, and external partners, you will provide forward-looking insights, enable fact-based decisions, and strengthen accountability for financial outcomes. You will lead an international finance team in different locations and help GBS deliver sustainable efficiency, effectiveness, and business value.
How you’ll make an impact as a Head of GBS Finance
- Bring deep expertise in the operational financial management of Global Business Services, using cost, efficiency, quality and service-performance insights to improve both efficiency and effectiveness.
- While leveraging AI tools, develop and maintain unit-cost, productivity and service-performance measures that connect financial outcomes with operational volumes, quality and service levels. Use internal and external benchmarks to identify improvement opportunities.
- Planning, coordinating and maintaining cost control of our Business Centers operations, measuring performance against plan and proposing necessary action plans to achieve targets in a context of important transition plan.
- Ensure challenging stretched targets are set for each Shared Service Center, end-to-end solution lead and Management Services unit, and tracking performance in a timely manner.
- Establish and govern a consistent framework to validate, track and report productivity, transformation benefits and value delivery, including agreed baselines, ownership, timing and reconciliation to reported financial results.
- Ensure a robust, documented and transparent billing and reconciliation process across the GBS network, including accurate and timely charges to internal customers, clear allocation drivers, dispute resolution and compliance with applicable transfer-pricing and accounting requirements.
- Own and continuously improve a transparent, driver-based costing and charging model for GBS services. Define financial evaluation and performance-tracking methodologies, assess business cases and contract changes, and ensure continuity plans reflect current financial exposures and operational requirements.
- Lead financial and commercial governance of external service providers, including contract economics, rate cards, indexation, volume commitments, service credits, change requests, invoice validation and value-for-money assessments.
- Lead, develop and inspire your team in an international environment while working collaboratively and cross functionally with IT & Digital, Global Process Owners and Markets.

- Demonstrating senior finance leadership experience in GBS operational financial models and in complex global organizations, supported by relevant finance, accounting or business qualification.
- Applying financial analysis and co-piloting experience to various senior stakeholders through a strong command of management accounting, planning and forecasting, service costing, investment appraisal, financial controls and commercial contract management.
- Developing and improving financial systems and major business processes, with exposure to audit, project financial evaluation and contract reviews.
- Strong focus on compliance, rock solid reporting and internal controls.
- Managing and developing people, including virtual teams, with good organizational and planning skills.
- Communicating fluently in English, with superior written and verbal communication skills to effectively address and influence all levels, leadership team and internal customers.
