Position Summary
As an Internal Control Lead, you will be responsible for setting up and enhancing internal controls and compliance for Nespresso entities. You will maintain the tools and methodologies to ensure the effectiveness of internal control processes. Your expertise will be critical in fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the organization.
A Day in the Life of an Internal Control Lead
- Evaluate processes and systems to identify relevant risks and required controls.
- Assess, test, and monitor defined controls to identify and resolve potential gaps.
- Strive to find opportunities for increased digitalization of controls using AI tools.
- Act as a key contributor in the innovation pipeline process for all projects.
- Coordinate the development and rollout of global control and compliance projects.
- Develop expertise to support Nespresso-specific risks, such as Boutiques, data protection and eCommerce.
- Engage with Functions and Markets to increase compliance awareness and lead improvements.
- Coordinate the Internal Control Community (more than 40 markets) ensuring required training and support.
- Leverage services from Shared Service Centers to act on recommendations.
What will make you successful
- Considerable experience in Finance & Control, Audit, Internal Control, or related roles.
- Successful previous end-to-end project management experience is highly preferrable.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in cross-functional and matrix organizations.
- Experience within ERP environments to support integrated systems and control frameworks.
- Served as a subject matter expert on risk identification and controls implementation.
- Strong combination of strategic, analytical, and pragmatic thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a multi-cultural environment.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
