Position Summary

As an IT Product Manager, you will be responsible for one or several products within a product group and be responsible for the go-to-market strategy, product vision and vision execution as well as the end-to-end value delivery of your scope (including IT consumers’ adoption). Along the full product life cycle, you will work closely with IT customers and consumers to support company objectives and initiatives. You will be accountable for the product from ideation and strategy through continuous value management to retirement, with responsibility for the full life cycle of the product including value delivery model (L1, L2, L3 etc.). On the delivery side of the product, you will be responsible for analyzing and continuously managing the value for money, ensuring the product is adopted as widely as possible. As an IT product manager will have to deliver applications that support Nestlé's initiative to simplify the life of the end user, standardize work across Nestlé markets and businesses and share above market in centers of scale and competency. You will also be in charge of managing the team(s) developing the capabilities as well as the stakeholders receiving the capabilities and deliver value to other products and product groups.

A day in the life of...

 

•    Research & Segmentation leads to correct positioning and as a consequence to strategy definition: 
o    Use deep understanding of the business capabilities to segment IS / IT customers and consumers based on the needs and profile. Provides an outside in based view of how to best target each segment
•    Product strategy and vision:
o    Work with the business relationship manager and enterprise architect, develop a product strategy and vision aimed at maximizing value in line with corporate and business strategy
o    Define the long-term business capability automation and digitalization roadmap for the business outcomes the product or product group deliver
o    Ensures the product strategy can be delivered either within their own product stack or by “contracting” with other product groups

•    Go to market and value delivery:
o    Prepare the strategy and communication material to create a shared understanding of the product in particular on how to market and sell it (for BRMs at the Centre and in the markets), to deliver and operate it (for product teams) and to measure its success (for performance manager and BRMs)
Product analytics: 
o    Analyze reporting provided by the performance manager for insights of product impact and adoption in market (actuals versus plan). Work with customers to define and validate specific key value indicators (KVIs); define with team key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve the product value for Nestlé; retire the product at end of life based on trend analysis on KVIs and KPIs
•    Security, Compliance & Risk Management:
o    Accountable for ensuring all applications within their product are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements, Business Continuity Plans etc.
o    Responsible for translating the business risk appetite into requirements for the full product stack.
•    Leadership
o    Create the context: create alignment and the adoption of our IT Vision to Life (IT V2L), lead by example, promote an open culture and our values in a sustainable way, promote innovation and entrepreneurial mindset
o    Drive performance: empower and enable people, give and receive feedback, evaluate and differentiate performance, constantly challenge the set up organization to ensure its results and effectiveness.

What will make you successful

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product 
•    Demonstrated experience in a product-based IT organization 
•    At least 5 years' experience in IT (e.g. BA, PM, etc.)
•    At least 3 years' relevant experience in the Clinical Trial industry (e.g. good understanding of core concepts such as GCP or OQ/IQ/PQ validation)
•    Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
•    Experience with evaluating SaaS solutions a plus.
•    Experience with Biosensors a plus
•    Fluent in English - French would be an advantage
