In addition, it also provides technical assistance and engineering support for major Capital Investment Projects to our factories.

Position Summary

 

In this position, you will drive / apply / maintain / develop process automation engineering knowledge, solutions and standards for the Nestlé Nutrition Infant Formula category. Applying related “Industry 4.0” cutting edge technologies (e.g. IIoT, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Advanced Process Control Solutions…), you will evaluate the business benefits, pilot and drive the implementation in Nutrition factories worldwide. For this position, traveling will be required.

A working day in a life of a Senior Engineering Specialist – Digital & Automation

 

  • Lead discovery, development and implementation of Process Control, Automation and Digital solutions (from experiment to industrialization)
  • Drive standardization of operation technologies and process automation solutions for IF Nutrition plants
  • Lead roll out of Process Control, Automation and Digital solutions and other efficiency improvement initiatives in Nutrition plants
  • Ensure Automation, Process Control and MES deliverables and standards are implemented in investment projects.
  • Support industrialization start-ups till product commissioning
  • Build / disseminate knowledge / expertise incl. participation in workshops & training sessions, such as training for Engineers / Technologists
  • Provide accurate and on-time technical assistance to factories in the area of Digital and Automation
What will make you successful

 

  • Master in Engineering with a background in Process Automation, Industrial Software, Operation Technologies
  • Strong experience in Digital and Process Automation engineering, preferable food, or exposure to process operations in a food Factory
  • Solid experience in process mastership applications or as a corporate engineer of a market or similar experience in other companies
  • Experience in project implementation in factories
  • Good knowledge of process automation, food processing, advanced process control concepts and digital technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong aptitude to work in teams
  • Fluent English and preferable other languages (German, French, Spanish...)
