Position Summary

 

As an “Issues & Crisis Communication Manager”, you will support a newly formed function, designed to protect the company's reputation during crises and improve the company's ability to identify external trends and turn them into opportunities for corporate leadership. In this position you will execute the global crisis communication strategy and support the Head of Issues and Crisis Management in creating 360° impact with the company's various stakeholders and audiences.

A Day in the Life of an Issues & Crisis Communication Manager

 

  • Execute the global issue management communications strategy to ensure effective action on major reputational challenges
  • Contribute to Nestlé’s global Position Statements and assist in developing standards and guidelines that strive to cement company leadership and secure business continuity and recovery (as appropriate).
  • Continuously improve market resources and ensure easy accessibility to both online and human resources that support local issue management challenges
  • Manage stakeholder relationships at a global level on diverse issues and support in training markets on issues and crisis management


What will make you successful

 

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in corporate communications and/or public affairs
  • Relevant and proven experience in issues & crisis management 
  • Strong forward thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Sound know-how in public relations in the international media landscape
  • Ability to network, influence, motivate and energize others to achieve results
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English, knowledge of French and other languages is an asset
