  • Degree/ Diploma in microbiology or food safety
  • Demonstrated 3-5 years’ experience in R&D or factory environment.
  • relevant experience in administration background, knowledge and understanding Experience in a demanding and international environment.

A day in the life of a Water treatment specialist:

Innovation project

  • Provide support to projects (Science and Technology, Innovation projects and technical assistance), ensuring Quality and Food Safety by Design and timely delivery of key information/documents.
  • Support the development: pHACCP and pQMS assistance, validate Critical Control Point, assess microbiological risks of new ingredients and processes.
  • Lead Research and Development projects related to microbiological stability of beverages.
  • Build and document knowledge in the field of microbiology and share about latest methods, trends, and developments. Explore patentable technologies, processes, and ingredients.

 

 

Quality and Food safety system

 

  • Identify, report, manage/mitigate, escalate food safety or quality risks and issues. Perform root cause analysis, in case of non-conformities.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the food safety management system (e.g. by performing internal audits)
  • Provide training on quality and food safety topics to the R&D center employees and factories as per needed.

 

Technical assistance

  • Bring dedicated expertise to NPTC departments, markets, and Zone in quality and food safety-related issues.
  • Support in case of crisis in Zone and market by sharing knowledge and/or found appropriate information.
  • Maintain business-specific standards and manufacturing instructions which include creation/revision of model HACCP/QMS.

 

What will make you successful: 

Key experience:

 

  • Applied science university graduate or equivalent (preferred microbiology or food safety)
  • Demonstrated expertise and practical experience in HACCP is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus.
