  • Master’s degree in the field of Water treatment 

  • Capability demonstrated to manage projects responsible for scope, budget, and schedule with 8-15 years PM experience; Demonstrated 8-15 years’ experience in R&D or design functions.

Position summary:  

Provide technical support to Nestlé Waters bottled water factories on Water Treatment and Cleaning-in-Place topics: Process design, P&ID development, equipment evaluation; System start-up, commissioning, and operator training; Hygienic process equipment design & fabrication; Troubleshooting. 

Manage the development, innovation, and renovation of processes/systems from inception through all stages of development.  Build his/her expertise and apply his/her knowledge in the field to provide relevant scientific/technical guidance in response to business and consumer needs. 

 

A day in the life of a Water treatment specialist:  

  • Propose new ideas/tasks/methods to PTC and Operations. Build and document knowledge and share latest methods, trends, and developments in relevant field of activity.  Incumbent will consolidate, build, and represent the technical expertise for an area of specialization such as water treatment of water or water-based beverages, filling, bottle processing, end of line packaging, HOD, or appliance development for the group.  

  • Develop a base of working knowledge to specify and standardize technologies for bottled beverages including all auxiliary and hygiene technologies. 

  • Survey and partner with suppliers on new promising technical opportunities to increase competitive gaps, consider reductions in capital investment, and operating cost.  In addition, consider improvements in product safety, occupational safety, hygienic design, and flexibility throughout our operations.                

  • Use close internal relationships to support factories/markets/businesses.   

  • Extend networking to assure best visibility of the engineering activity. Incumbent will be coached by other team experts and senior specialists towards best performance.  Cooperate closely with other engineering groups, technical managers in the markets and factories, and international/local purchasing groups and suppliers.  

  • Communicate best practices/potential technical improvements throughout the markets. 

  • Support capital investments implemented in markets and communicated best technical choices between NWMT, Zone, and markets to support the choice of most appropriate equipment.   

  • Provide most effective technical communication strategy to ensure transfer of PTC knowledge to businesses and markets for utilization.  

  • Coordinate and support training at PTC, factories, and markets, to effectively transfer technical knowledge base to relevant R&D units, business partners, markets, factories, or other external partners with open innovation.

  • Capability demonstrated to manage projects responsible for scope, budget, and schedule with 8-15 years PM experience. 

  • Demonstrated 8-15 years’ experience in R&D or design functions. 

  • Has demonstrated courage and ability to take and make correct decisions, and to solve problems. 

  • Has proven communication skills (presents confidently and convincingly to steering or strategic groups)                                                                   

  •  Has experience in the technical briefing process. 

  • Good level in English
