Position Summary

Responsible for the implementation of continuous improvement methodology through training, coaching & assessing and seeking opportunities for improvements in manufacturing performance, product quality and cost. 

Responsible for reviewing existing practices to ensure compliance with Nestle standards (Safety, Health Environment) and all relevant regulations, as expressed by Legislation and/or Internal Instructions. 

May be involved in ad hoc projects related to continuous improvement and compliance areas.
 

A day in the life of...

•    Coordinates the implementation of site continuous improvement methodology to deliver results.  
•    Coordinates the implementation of SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) roadmaps and ensure compliance with company principles, policies and requirements.
•    Supports the implementation of specific tools & initiatives, ensuring understanding and development of CI culture across the factory site and beyond.
•    Engages all employees in continuous improvement and SHE mindset
•    Supports the implementation of digital solutions in the site
•    Conducts specific studies/ projects to analyze problems and implements or drives solutions. 
 

What will make you successful

•    University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in any other relevant field
•    Practical experience of local S&H priorities, e.g. machinery safety, ergonomics, health, contractor management, process safety
•    Practical experience of local environmental priorities, e.g. management of energy/carbon, water and waste
•    Practical experience of implementation of continuous improvement and problem-solving tools 
•    Implementation of improvements through influencing others
•    Working in, and leading, cross-functional teams
•    Project management skills 
•    Fluency in Greek & English
