POSITION SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity for an Injury Management Advisor to join our Factory Team in Wahgunyah. They will manage return to work and claims, coordinate the early intervention (wellbeing program), and oversee the overall operation of first aid.

 

A DAY IN THE LFE...

 

We are seeking an Injury Management professional to join our Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) team based at our Wahgunyah factory. Reporting to the Safety, Health & Environment Manager, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Managing return to work and claims for the site
  • Liaising with medical partners on site and service providers,
  • Develop & coordinating return to work plans for employees
  • Provide expert guidance to line managers on facilitation of Return to Work (RTW) plans
  • Maintain incident database, analyse reports and providing injury trends and statistics
  • Participate in SHE and Employee wellbeing projects as required 
  • Be involved in the development and delivery of Injury management methodologies and training of these for site staff

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • Your exceptional relationship building skills combined with your collaborative and empathetic approach are key to this role as you provide coaching and support to managers and employees.
  • Your confidence and enthusiasm allows you to work in front of large and small groups and present training and facilitate small projects
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role within Manufacturing or Food industries will be advantageous.
  • Recognised qualifications in the area of Return to Work
  • Medical/allied health or HR background would be advantageous
  • Highly developed organisation skills to manage the injury management cases.
  • Computer savvy and a confident user of the suite of MS Office programs.

 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
