Position Summary

 

Opportunity currently exists for a Quality Systems Coordinator to join the Quality team based our Wahgunyah Factory, the home of Uncle Toby’s Snacks and Cereals. 

 

In this role as a Quality Systems Coordinator, you will lead, and ensure effective implementation of, and compliance to, the Nestlé Quality systems, including SAP-QM, Net Content Control (NCC), and the document management systems.

 

A day in the life…

 

Reporting to the QA Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to: 

 

  • As the site SAP-QM Superuser, ensure effective implementation and compliance to the Nestlé requirements of SAP-QM.
  • Drive improvement of the existing SAP set-up, including implementation of new initiatives.
  • Be responsible for the correct set-up and use of the release process at the Wahgunyah site, including training.  
  • Be responsible for release of all raw materials and packaging.
  • Be responsible for restricted stock management.
  • As the site champion for Net Contents Control, ensure that the set up and use of the system for net weight management complies with both Nestlé and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the local document control system, including health checks, training, and compliance.
  • Participate in the site's internal audit program. Identify and drive internal audits related to the quality systems.
  • Ensure the use and success of structured root cause analysis after incidents relating to quality systems failures have occurred.
  • Own and deliver training related to the Quality Systems as is required.
  • Actively participate in Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) & Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars and activities, delivering to the requirements outlined in the methodology.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related field of study
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience as a quality specialist, preferably with SAP experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
  • Passionate about working for Nestlé and sharing its purpose.
