Injury Management Advisor

Position Summary

We are looking for an exceptional and motivated Injury Management Coordinator to join our team in Wahgunyah – home of UNCLE TOBYS. In this role, you will join a collaborative team where you will be a strong team player with a history of delivering results in a busy and dynamic manufacturing environment.
 

A day in the life of...

 

Reporting to our Safety, Health and Environment Manager for the site, a day in the life will look like:


•    To manage return to work and claims and working toward reduced lost time for injured workers. 
•    Coordinate the early intervention, through our well being program and oversee the overall operation of first aid.
•    Provide high quality injury management in line with Nestle Injury Management System and injury management standards are implemented. 
•    Management of claims, including regular liaison with injured worker, and other key stakeholders
•    Promote and develop rehabilitation with employees, insurers, treaters and rehabilitation providers.
•    Develop strategies in conjunction with the SHE Manager and Workers Compensation Insurer to manage individual claims.
•    Maintain incident database, supply reports regarding injury trends and statistics. Maintain employee medical records.
•    Coordinate the first aid operation, training and function across the site plus manage the end to end for regular hearing tests. 

What will make you successful

 

•    2+ years’ experience in a similar role and workers compensation claims management
•    Level 2 First Aid certification
•    Highly capable with MS Office programs including word and excel
•    An understanding of the manufacturing environment is highly desirable
•    High attention to detail
•    Strong communication skills – oral and written
•    Experience managing key stakeholders internally and externally

 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency. 
 

COVID-19 VACCINATION will be required to perform this role, based on the Public Health Orders applicable in some States and Territories and/or conditions of premises entry set by our customers. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination or medical exemption as part of our recruitment process.
