Position Summary

 

The factory in Wangen bei Olten (CH) is a high-performance production company of Nestlé Suisse S.A. and produces high-quality fresh dough of the Leisi, Buitoni and Herta brands for at home and abroad.

 

In this position you will manage Projects for implementing new products and improving existing ones within the Multi Market segment of “chilled dough”, with an end to end approach.
You will work on developing recipes and processes for creating or renovating products in cooperation with Pilot Plan and Factory teams, in order to achieve the objectives defined in the Project Briefs.

A day in the life of a Project Manager as Food Engineer

 

  • manage the innovation & renovation projects from product design to industrialization phase including operational line trials
  • Perform and support raw material & packaging materials harmonization exercises and maintain raw material specifications and recipes in the different management systems
  • Collaborate strongly with Business Marketing, Export teams, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management teams 
  • Support the Quality Assurance team in analyzing customer and consumer complaints and introduce improvement plans,
  • Collaborate with third parties such as suppliers and co-manufacturers

What will make you successful

 

  • Studies (university / FH) in food technology, food technologist HF and apprenticeship as a cook, baker, food technologist with appropriate further training
  • 3-5 years work experience in product development and project management
  • Work experience in industrial bakery/dough segment is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • MS Office knowledge, experience in SAP is an advantage
