In this role you will be responsible for building robust production plans for Kargowa factory and its Wafers portfolio. Respecting the agreed level of constrained capacity and taking into account further constraints, you will ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available with the highest quality, at the right stock location to meet customer demand whilst minimising cost (optimize service at the best E2E cost).
This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across different areas of our business including: production, finance, local supply chain, R&D and projects. The role will offer you a degree of autonomy to both challenge and recommend new ways of working.
The role will allow you to be in a close touch with the EUR DSP community by being part of the Above the Market Confectionery Team. Beside the stakeholders in your area of responsibility, you will therefore have the chance to be in contact with planners of other EUR Confectionary factories and markets.
A day in the life…
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Establishes an 18-month production plan for the factories within the scope of responsibility (including sub/contracting and/or co-manufacturing where relevant) ensuring continuous product availability in all Receiving locations
- Creating Committed Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments etc.
- Provide information on labour requirements through Committed Capacity
- Creating a feasible and optimal production plan that respects based on constrained capacity
- Identify and effectively address all potential capacity issues in advance, working closely with multiple stakeholders to implement solutions
- Identifying possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18-month horizon balancing flexibility and reliability
- Actively support the “Strategic Volume Planning” process (i.e. Capex Planning) by providing capacity simulations, scenario planning and contingency proposals
- Ensures product availability and works closely with other streams to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Looks after Inventories and ensure optimal levels, considering stock covers, DC’s capacity, production cycles and risk management.
What will make you successful?
- Relevant operational experience, in at least one of the following areas: Production Planning; Factory Planning, Supply Network Planning, Purchasing, Factory Production Leadership or Demand Planning
- Have excellent analytical thinking and are interested in working with numbers - an advanced MS Excel user
- Demonstrable experience with SAP APO. Knowledge in Microsoft Power BI would be a plus
- You are motivated to develop in the Supply Chain and work in an international environment
- You have developed communication and coordination skills
- You are proactive and passionate about gaining new knowledge and skills and you are able to work autonomously
- Good level of English
