Key Information:

• Location: Warsaw, Poland, or the option to work remotely with regular monthly visits to Warsaw
• Permanent Contract, Full Time
• Hybrid work arrangement (60% at the office, 40% remote) or as above
• Possibility of business travels

What Will Make You Successful?

• Ability to build relationships with external and internal partners (Carriers, Forwarders, Stakeholders in different functions)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of purchasing issues in the field of transport and logistics
• Experience in cooperation with logistics operators, carriers in terms of establishing cooperation and implementing contractual arrangements after the tender procedure
• Knowledge English and Polish (knowledge German or Czech or Hungarian would be a plus) at a level which enables free communication with business partners
• Problem-solving skills, resistance to stress, and ability to work under time pressure
• Analytical skills and ability to work practically with Microsoft Excel
   

Main Responsibilities:

• Implementing the road transport service procurement strategy in line with the guidelines set by the Zone Category Lead
• Proactively analyze transport market data and understand business requirements
• Supporting and managing tender processes and assisting in the implementation of contractual provisions once the contract is signed
• Building relationships with carriers, conducting regular meetings to improve business processes, and implementing initiatives that minimize environmental impact
• Collaborating with the Transportation HUB Team to provide transportation on selected lines and optimize customer service quality while reducing operating costs and environmental impact
• Communicating benefits and outcomes, including SLA delivery, to key stakeholders in Nestle
• Ensuring compliance with Nestle's Corporate Business Principles, Procurement policy, and collaboration with Suppliers
