Position Summary

 

In order to manage our transportation network effectively, Nestlé has launched a Global Transportation Hubs (T-Hubs) programme. The implementation of centralized T-Hubs enables transportation management above the market, while combining standardized processes and advanced technology within one organization with central support functions.
For our EMENA T-Hubs central support, we are looking for a Data Coordinator. Your main mission as a Data Coordinator is to support the implementation and sustain of (inter-)national transport data and systems to enable a safe, cost efficient and effective transport network across Nestlé Europe.
 

A day in the life of aT-Hub / EMENA Data Coordinator

 

  • Be the expert of all transportation related Master Data, ensuring seamless transport planning and execution between T-hubs, markets and carriers
  • Create and maintain all relevant transport master data, such as carrier & vendor master data, rates, lanes, shares, truck types, carrier extensions, tender data quality etc.
  • Support day-to-day Operations with data related issue resolution, incl. implementation of Health Checks and corrective actions
  • Drive master data standardization initiatives across Hubs, markets & businesses
  • Support activities regarding the on boarding of markets, businesses and locations concerning preparation, testing and validation of transportation related data
  • Support further T-Hubs roll out and enhancements in Europe, incl. all relevant test cycles
  • Support review and enhancement of existing KPI’s as well as master data relevant ad hoc requests from stakeholders (Analytics)
     
What will make you successful

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Distribution/Logistics/Supply Chain department
  • Academic background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Data Management or equivalent education combined with Logistics/Supply Chain knowledge
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), other European languages a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP TM and Transporeon
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Structured and objective thinking to make the best decisions, solve issues, and offer solutions
