E-commerce Manager

Location: Warsaw

From this beginning more than 30 years ago, the Nespresso brand concept, the Nespresso Trilogy: exceptional coffees, smart and stylish coffee machines and personalized, exclusive services, has revolutionized the way people enjoy their coffee and has evolved from pioneer to being the reference in portioned premium coffee.

 

Nespresso worldwide since its launch has enjoyed growth year on year. Our ambitions for coming years are sky high. Currently we are looking for E-commerce Manager with mission to:

Drive the business result of Nespresso’s digital platforms by implementing the defined strategy, the consumer activation plan and campaigns, including e-retailer content & experience.

In this position key responsibilities will include:

  • Define and implement the E-commerce strategy
  • Define, plan & ensure the execution of e-merchandising activities through cross-sell, up-sell & eCRM possible strategies,
  • Leverage (internal and external) data, insights and recommendations provided by the Data & Insights to continuously improve activities,
  • Optimize e-retailer content & experience by driving the day-to-day back-end management of digital boutiques, both owned Digital Boutiques (nespresso.com B2C+B2B) and not-owned (eRetailer.com),
  • Drive and continuously improve the digital path to purchase and ensure a best-in-class digital consumer experience through optimized purchasing paths from call-to-actions to landing pages and leading test & learn activities
  • Ensure the integration of all product launches and digital campaigns into the content management system (e.g. copy, visuals, banners),
  • Define performance based plan taking into account global campaigns plan, local needs, competitive environment and budget,
  • Drive day-to-day traffic and audience on Nespresso digital entry points,
  • Manage day-to-day online acquisition tactics according to plan (SEM, online advertising, affiliation),
  • Manage agencies to insure proper delivery of qualitative online material (banners, videos, ad copy), cost-effective media buy and efficient tracking,
  • Coordinate with marketing to align with brand values and copy style,
  • Manage and monitor the budget within the subdepartment,
  • Manage the team of E-commerce professionals,
  • E-commerce Manager will report directly to Country Business Manager and become member of the local Management Team.

 

To succeed in the role the following experience and competencies will be essential:

  • 3+ years of experience in E-business,
  • 3+ experience in Digital Marketing activities to drive traffic on websites (SEO, SEM, Affiliation, Displays),
  • Strong experience in E-Commerce Operations (Content Management, E-Merchandising & personalization),
  • University degree, ,
  • Fluent Polish and English,
  • Experience in Multi-National Companies and matrix environment would be preferred,
  • Strong Web Analytics knowledge (Google Analytics certification a plus) as well as of A/B testing tools,
  • Experience in building and managing E-Business operations (organization, processes, guidelines) would be an advantage,
  • CRM and eCRM Experience a plus,
  • Real team player with proven track of leadership successes,
  • Perfectionist, oriented on details
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to wide and diverse audiences,
  • Ability to effectively elevate strategic issues and concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner,
  • Strong judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of policy and strategy,
  • Confident attitude, results-driven, high-energy, passionate about brand building, decisive with strong attention to details.
