IT HUB EUR in Warsaw is looking for a value-driven and team-focused IT Financial Accounting Lead who will be responsible for end-to-end IT Finance service delivery to Nestle Markets in Europe.

Location: Warsaw

Key responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the EUR Regional Manager of FCL IT Technology based in Warsaw, you will lead a diverse team of internal and external people and will drive development and execution of IT FCL strategy that serves business FINANCE function. Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering to Nestle business F&C communities in EUR in shaping and aligning on the IT FINANCE technology plans. The alignment includes Project Portfolio management, IT Investment alignment and follow up, Technology Roadmap creation.
  • Project Portfolio Delivery – delivery of the agreed and approved project portfolio through the resource and functional management of internal and external IT FCL resources.
  • Acting as single point of contact within EUR region for FINANCE receivers and other IT units to collect requirements, address escalations and support the resolution.
  • Functional consulting to business receivers on products available in FCL scope and their application to specific business requirements. Alternatively, if no products exist, collecting the requirements and aligning on the Product Roadmaps with Product Owners or designing and building custom solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Ensuring quality reliability services (solution maintenance and support) from external service providers.
  • Supporting Digital Transformation within IT FCL with bringing automation initiatives, proposing innovations, etc.

Expectations towards candidates:

•    Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent;
•    7+ years of relevant experience of IT business analysis in a functional area of Finance.
•    Very good knowledge of SAP FI modules, proven with relevant experience.
•    Proven people leadership and senior stakeholder management skills.
•    Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design-thinking methodology.
•    Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.
•    Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall).
•    Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies.
•    Understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into application requirements.
•    Deep understanding of the IT landscape in the functional area.
•    Proven experience in effective communication in English at different levels of the organization.
•    Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
•    Master data governance knowledge. 
•    Working knowledge of Business Analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.) is desirable.
